Evergreen TV is a family-owned company with offices in Times Square and historical Essex, Connecticut. The company owns and operates a full-service TV studio, affectionately called “The Warehouse,” a stone’s throw from the Connecticut River and the Essex Steam Train. 

 

At Evergreen TV, our mission is to offer an online channel with quality, informative and entertaining programs explicitly targeting senior citizens living at home or in retirement communities. In the wake of Covid-19, CCRCs, Assisted Living, Nursing Homes, and independent seniors have been living under strict restraints with little contact with family and friends. Additionally, social gatherings and live entertainment are banned, making electronic programming their only option. ETV was created to help fill that void with new, smart, and engaging programming.

In addition to original shows produced by ETV, programs will also be developed in tandem with senior citizen professionals from Hollywood and Broadway, who have lent their support and want to be part of this new platform. Senior entertainment professionals have been coming forward, eager to create programming and share their stories in front of and behind the camera. 

Content is developed to be watched on various digital platforms, including; online through IPTV (Internet Protocol Television) Systems, Hospitality TV, OTT content systems, or other distributing programs to residents at retirement facilities. ETV can also be watched at an individual’s home by logging in and streaming through the ETV website, the ETV App on a smart TV, computer, tablet, smartphone, or a streaming media player like Firestick, Roku or Apple TV.

The company was founded by husband and wife team Jerry Goehring and Patty Carver (www.PattyCarver.com), who have 25+ years on the national entertainment scene. Jerry is a Tony and Grammy-nominated Broadway producer who has created high-level theatre across the US and in London, including Broadway and the West End. Patty is an award-winning singer, actor, and writer with international credits. Patty has performed live in thousands of CCRCs, assisted living communities, libraries, schools, and major theatres up and down the east coast and throughout the Midwest. Jerry and Patty bring their decades of artist relationships and experience to create entertainment for the discerning senior community.
